Release Notes – Version 1.4.1.3, Released 7/22/22

Summary:  This is a small feature release, muddled with some adjustments to help our users get the most out of the KPI controls and dashboards.

  • Updated the Order KPI View to include Gross Profit and Billing data
  • Updated the Invoice KPI View to include PickCost, TotAmt, TotShip and GrossProfit
  • Updated the Graph KPI Control to draw a red line at the X-axis for negative values
  • Updated the Value KPI Bar Trend Graph to draw a red line at the X-axis for negative values
  • Updated the Sales By Month Report to not include current day in the straight-line projection field
  • Updated the Customer Entry Form to include Quotes and Orders buttons
  • Updated the Supplier Entry Form to include Purchase Orders and Invoices buttons
  • Added a Stock Control KPI View

Release Notes – Version 1.4.1.2, Released 4/21/22

Summary:  We squashed a few bugs and made several adjustments that will improve usability throughout FOURA

  • Fixed the issue, where a “This backgroundWorker is currently busy and cannot run multiple tasks concurrently” error was being displayed
  • Fixed the Drag/drop so that the KPI arrangement is restricted to Setup Role Members for all corporate dashboards
  • Fixed an issue where FOURA was not trapping an error when the KPI was refreshing.  FOURA will display ERROR on the KPI with a tooltip of the actual error message
  • Fixed an issue where entry into budgets rows were not being saved

 

  • Updated the KPI Management Form to include basic audit fields
  • Updated the KPI Value Control with history to show actual value (current) as the large number and the projected value as the smaller number
  • Updated the KPI Graph to limit display to 12 groupings, additional groups will be rolled up into a 13th group called OTHER
  • Updated the KPIs and dashboards to require KPI Manager Role (rl_KPIManager) for editing
  • Updated the dashboard viewer to include a KPI context menu with options to remove a KPI and to open the KPI Entry Form
  • Updated the Dashboard with the FOURA watermark logo in the lower right corner

Release Notes – Version 1.4.1.1, released 4/19/22

Summary:  This dashboard maintenance release applies a little polish to yesterday’s release.

  • Fixed the Auto Formatting of negative values on all KPIs
  • Updated single value KPI to show actual value, the color remains fixed off of the projection
  • Updated single value KPI to include a tooltip showing the actual and projected values
  • Updated the gauge control, to allow the use of the Green Value and Yellow currency value – versus just using the percentage entry fields
  • Updated the Sales Order KPI View to include the Order Type Name Field
  • Updated the Quote KPI View to include the Singed and Signed Date Fields
  • Updated the KPI selection form to show the dashboard Sort ID.
  • Updated the offline help file in FOURA

Release Notes – Version 1.4.1.0, Released 4/18/2022

Summary:  We are really proud of this feature release, anchored by the introduction of Corporate and User Dashboards.  Supported by help files and nearly two dozen fixes and additions to FOURA, this is one of our largest releases ever!

  • Fixed the Void Payment form is now properly initialized and scaled when opened on the Browse Payments Form
  • Fixed the Exception on Delivery Confirmation dialog where the driver list was viewed but no driver selected
  • Fixed the Add Customer from Lead now sets the default service level
  • Fixed the Customer created from quote now uses AR specific defaults for Incoterms and cash account
  •    Fixed the Purchase Orders with Wide Format Logo Report, which now correctly shows the ship-to name
  • Fixed the Sales lead probability is now calculated after all other updates are done when releasing Cash Allocations
  • Fixed the “Add Order From Quote” process to use AR Cash Acct and Inco AR from AP Cash Acct and AP Inco
  • Fixed the Sales Invoice real-time calculation, the record is now properly initialized when adding a manual invoice from the Sales Order

  • Updated the Document Library Zoom function to use the internal source ID, versus the document code
  • Updated the Global Variables form to include functional grouping and usage notes
  • Update the Cash Sub-Ledger (CAL) zoom JrnlID, from zooming to the Browse Ledger Form and now zooms to the Journal Viewer Form (JVW)
  • Updated the 1 Column Chooser Usage Notes (Browse PO Lines \ ShowOnSched)
  • Updated the ContentType Form from DocCount to Form Count.  Also added document count to measure the amount of attached ContentTypes across FOURA
  • Updated the Sales Performance to add BU \ Branch Filter, limiting Acct Mgr if BU is selected
  • Updated the Sales Margin by Family Report to add total columns on the upper right grid
  • Updated how Washington State Business and Occupational taxes are paid by updating the way retention is reported
  • Updated the Global Variables to add a setting to force ALL CAPS on check for Positive Pay Compliance
  • Updated the Global Variables to add a setting for the default return action in the enhanced return process
  • Updated Last Used field on the Addresses Form, which triggers on the release of a Purchase Order, Sales Order, and Sales Invoice

Release Notes – Version 1.4.0.1, released 1/21/22

Summary:  We squashed a few bugs and made several adjustments that will improve usability throughout FOURA

  • Fixed “Cannot insert value NULL” error when adding a PO with no Supplier defined.
  • Fixed “Error while process TextBox” error on Quote Report when using “-“ address
  • Fixed an issue with multiple customer returns, the Invoice List was not refreshing.
  • Added Autosuggest for Supplier Field on the Add PO Form

Release Notes – Version 1.4.0.0, released 1/21/22

Summary:  In this release, we made significant changes to our Report Manager to improve usability and accessibility to the report details.  We also added a Delivery Confirmation Email and a show PO on Schedule features.  We squeezed in some maintenance tasks to ensure compatibility and performance for the long haul.  And finally, we also laid the groundwork for KPI Management, which will be leveraged in our upcoming User Dashboard release.

  • ​Fixed an issue where the Sales Lead Stage was not being updated when a Sales Invoice was released or being revised
  • Fixed an issue with multiple customer returns on the Sales Invoice.  The prior returns Sales Invoice number appears as the default for another customer’s Sales Invoice.
  • Fixed the Purchase History by Supplier, supplier group by filter is now sorting correctly.
  • Fixed a potential error “string or binary data would be truncated” when browsing schedule
  • Fixed sort order on the Purchase History by Supplier Report
  • Updated the Remit Name to always print in uppercase on printed checks
  • Updated the Payee Font to 14 pt Arial on printed checks, per customer bank request for Positive Pay
  • Updated the Report Manager to display the generated report next to the input controls. Allowing users to view the filter results quickly and be able to make any necessary changes
  • Updated the Report Manager filters to include drop-down combo lists, eliminating unnecessary data entry and saving time
  • Updated the Report Manager filters to use established Named Date Ranges, making it easier for users to hone into data with pre-established named date ranges
  • Updated the Report Manager filters with Autosuggest text editor fields to have a visual indicator, making it easier to identify this popular feature on any given form
  • Updated the Quote Report, will now suppress address block if the address is a single dash “-“
  • Updated the Browse Customer Form (BCS) to include Average Paid Days (AvgPaidDays), Default Terms (DefTerm), and Term Due Days (TermDays) fields
  • Updated the Item Sales Report to use a Business Unit (branch) filter
  • Updated the Sales Performance Report, where hovering over Item Number and Customer Code will display the affiliated name via a tooltip
  • Updated the Employee KeyChange function to include Drivers (Delivery Confirmation Email)
  • Updated the Pick Ticket Form (PCK) with the Delivery Confirmation Sent Date field (when emailed) and a Delivery Confirmation Sent (date) field – when successfully sent
  • Updated the Pick Ticket Form (PCK) with a Delivery Confirmation Email Button that is enabled when the Pick Ticket is completed
  • Updated the Carrier Services Form (CSV) making the Service “Days” field visible and editable.  Entries default to zero days (equals same day delivery) and should be reviewed for accuracy and used on Pick Ticket Delivery Confirmation Emails
  • Updated 155 Column Chooser Usage Notes
  • Added a Delivery Confirmation Email Template named “DeliveryB,” which can be edited via System>Setup>Email Templates (EMT).  The Delivery Confirmation Form is enabled on the Pick Ticket Form (PCK) once a Pick Ticket is Complete
  • Added a new Employee Group (EMG) called Driver.  The driver name may be selected on the Email Delivery Confirmation Form to personalize the email notification when company resources are being used for delivery
  • Added a “show on schedule” option for open and due-in Purchase Orders.
    • Only include lines where the PO ShowOnSched box is checked
    • Only Include lines with a status of Released or Revising
    • Events on Scheduler will represent the due-in date for lines on different dates
    • Exclude any PO lines that are Receipt Complete
    • Restrict new scheduler events, where the due date is beyond 60 days past due
  • Added an Invoice Calculations Table to improve Browse Sales Invoice Form (BSI) performance
  • Added a Sales by Product Family Report, that provides drill-in capabilities to the Browse Sales Invoice Form (BSI) and automatically queries and presents the data for management support.
  • Added the Product Family and Family Name to the Browse Sales Invoice Lines Form (BSL)
  • Added the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Framework and Management Form for future release
  • Added fiscal year aware Named Date Range parameter to all reports with From/To date filters
  • Added Business Unit parameter to Item Sales Report (all layouts)
  • System maintenance, Infragistics updated to 21.2
  • System maintenance, we enabled Infragistics Enhanced DPI Scaling throughout FOURA
  • System maintenance, Avalara updated to version 21.12
  • System Maintenance, updated Avalara Tax Codes and Zip RatesSystem Maintenance updated the Washington State Tax Jurisdictions and Rates from the Washington State Department of Revenue

Release Notes – Version 1.3.2.9, released 8/21/21

Summary:  There’s more than meets the eye to this minor update.  It’s one of those situations where more went in than we’re getting out.  That’s okay because we invested the time and groundwork for better things to come.

  • Fixed a unique occurrence in the Check Printing process, allowing customers to void some checks while printing others correctly.
  • Fixed a potential issue when revising a Cash Receipt on an orphaned AR Allocation
  • Fixed an issue with the initial build cost when an item from the Bill of Materials (BOM) is not in stock.
  • Updated the Sales By Day Report to sort the details by Business Unit (branch) by Cost Center – where applicable.
  • Updated the Payee Font to 12pt Arial when printing on laser check forms

Release Notes – Version 1.3.2.8, released 8/4/21

Summary:  We squashed a few bugs and made several adjustments that will improve usability throughout FOURA

  • Fixed the print preview and email Sales Order PDF reports to reflect different Business Unit (branch) addresses
  • Updated the Quote Form, so it is now editable on a Sales Order and will synchronize with the pre-existing Quote
  • Updated the Sales Order Form to allow the Quote Number to be manually entered instead of selecting it from a list. The entry must be valid.
  • Updated the Sales By Month Report to organize details by the Business Unit (branch) Cost Center
  • Updated the Sales By Month Report that now excludes holidays in the Holidays Form and uses working days to calculate Straight-line projections
  • Updated the Sales Order Form, so when the Project is changed on the Sales Order Header, the matching project lines will update the corresponding Sales Order Lines details.
  • Updated the Sales Order Form to default the related customer information when a project is selected on the Sales Order Form header.
  • Updated FOURA so that a project permits the importation of negative hours in accounting format (I.E., parens)
  • Updated the Project Tasks to be limited to tasks defined in the TaskCode Possible Values List (control).
  • Updated the Warehouse table to audit\record changes
  • Added the won/lost field to Quote Line and associated Browse Quote Form. The field accepts free text, up to ten characters.
  • Added a new grouping/layout for Item Sales Report, which organized the details by Product Family or Business Unit (branch) and Product Family.
  • Added a new grouping/layout for the Customer Sales Report, which organizes the information by Business Unit (branch) where applicable.
  • Added a “holiday” button to Scheduler, displaying only those with permissions to edit the holiday’s table.
  • System Maintenance, Avalara updated to v21.7.1

Release Notes – Version 1.3.2.7, released 6/16/21

Summary:  Small refinements based on customer input, and we did some chores to ensure that FOURA will continue to run smoothly

  • Updated the arrangement of the fields on the Add Voucher Form for a better workflow
  • Updated the Positive Pay file format based on bank feedback following a trial run
  • System Maintenance, Infragistics updated to release 2021/1
  • System Maintenance, Avalara updated to v21.6.0

Release Notes – Version 1.3.2.6, released 6/8/21

Summary: Thanks to an alert customer, we learned of an issue and were able to get it resolved the same day

  • Fixed the Sales Invoice PDF was not using the Sales Invoice Use Company Address (SIUseCompAddress) flag – a complete oversight on our part.
